power scheme not working after wallpaper change
I've actually noticed with Windows 2000 and XP it is soooo much faster if I press the power button once quickly. Windows shutsdow in less than 3 secs for me when I When I had Windows ME, when i pressed shutdown, the computer actually shutdown. But in XP Pro, when I shutdown, I have to press the power button.

Power button
I basically could never use the power button. Working with Gateway technical support I have replaced the power supply twice to no avail. I have used three different power switches all of which were verified to be in working order, no change. The motherboard has been replaced, no change.

In my BIOS I've enabled the "4-second-delay-power-thingy", but that should only affect when turning off the computer?!?!?! I've tried to changed it to the other mode and it doesn't help....
